Exciting News: SCSM 2025 is Coming!

As the technology landscape continues to evolve, keeping your IT service management (ITSM) systems secure and up-to-date is critical. System Center Service Manager (SCSM) 2019 will reach the end of its mainstream support on April 9, 2024. For organizations still using this version, ensuring your IT Service Management remains up-to-date and compliant with Microsoft is essential.

To help you stay ahead, we are excited to announce the upcoming release of SCSM 2025, expected in Q4 of 2024! This update brings enhanced security features, modernized functionality, and a renewed commitment to long-term support, providing an additional ten years of service—five years of mainstream support followed by five years of extended support. This release will ensure that your on-premise ITSM solution continues to operate efficiently, securely, and reliably for years to come.

If you are currently using SCSM 2019 or an earlier version, there are three options to consider as you plan for the future:

  1. Migrate to SCSM 2022
If you prefer a proven, stable platform, migrating to SCSM 2022 is a great option. Available now, SCSM 2022 offers a well-established, reliable solution with robust features designed to meet your current IT service management needs. By migrating to SCSM 2022, you’ll benefit from ongoing support and a smooth, tested performance for your IT operations.
  2. Upgrade to SCSM 2025
Looking for the latest version? Once SCSM 2025 is released in late 2024 or early 2025, you can immediately upgrade to the newest version and take advantage of various features and security improvements. Upgrading, you’ll ensure your organization operates on the most up-to-date platform, with the added benefit of a full decade of support.
