The baseline release of the Cireson Portal for System Center Service Manager (SCSM) is now out and available for download with the release of v11.8.1. This release introduces a host of fixes reported by our customers and of course brings up a couple features from our Latest Lane. If you’ve been patiently waiting for either Power Automate or Custom Action functionality to make it into baseline, wait no more!
Not only is Power Automate functionality included in baseline now, but the Power Automate Connector for the Cireson Portal is also Microsoft Certified and available for use within any of your respective flows. Get started here to create new flows or augment your existing ones with Service Manager functionality.
With the Power Automate Connector for the Cireson Service Manager Portal, you can:
- Create and edit Incidents, Problems, Changes, Releases and Service Requests.
- Leave Comments on any Work Item.
- Create Triggers from the Service Manager Portal to start any Power Automate flow.
All from a low code, no code experience right inside of your browser. Just search “Cireson” in Power Automate to see these Triggers and Actions available for use.
You might already be familiar with Custom Grids via our OData widgets that gives you the ability to introduce any properties you want on a Work Item grid. For example, the Affected User’s Department, Job Title or UserName. But with Custom Actions, you now gain single click actions on those very same grids to quickly assign work to yourself, add comments or even related Configuration Items without ever having to dive into the Work Item.
